COVID-19 RESPONSE
Update 2020: Given the current restrictions due to COVID-19, we have started offering many of our services over telehealth platforms. This allows us to continue providing support for our clients, and to extend our availability to all residents of California.
We have also developed an in-office hybrid model that combines IM injection, safely supervised in our office by medical staff, in combination with online support from a therapist. If we determine during the intake process that in-person treatment is medically indicated, we will follow ASKP's recommendations for appropriate precautions in order to balance highest quality treatment with safety considerations and public health needs.
Online Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy Facilitated Sessions
We are now providing individual KAP sessions online via secure video platforms, using sublingual ketamine lozenges prescribed and delivered via Koshland Pharmacy. We will determine during your initial intake appointment if this might be a safe and effective way for you to access treatment at this time. We will also offer all intake, preparation, and integration (both solo and group) sessions via telehealth. (Please be aware that you will need stable internet access and a comfortable, private space to do this work in your home.)
Online Psychotherapy Sessions
Our skilled and compassionate therapists are offering psychotherapy, harm reduction, and psychedelic integration services, as well as couples interventions, via telehealth.
Online Psychiatry Services
For those interested in a comprehensive medication evaluation, or for those seeking support in reducing or discontinuing psychiatric medication, we offer psychedelic-friendly psychiatry services via telehealth.
(We use HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms: Doxy, Zoom for Healthcare, or Google Meet, as we have a Business Associate Agreement with each of these providers. Prior to our first online appointment, you will receive an invitation with a link to the service being used.)
If during this time of social isolation, you find yourself feeling more depressed and anxious, or are troubled by your current substance use, please reach out to us to discuss resources. If we can’t help you, we’ll connect you to someone who can. Please take good care of yourself!
