KETAMINE ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY GROUPS
In addition to our individual treatment model, our practice also offers personalized, small-group treatment sessions. This unique modality blends elements of creating sacred space via ritual and ceremony with our depth psychotherapy approach.
We have been inspired by ancestral practices that evoke the power of community to heal and recover our vital connection to each other and the planet. We have also seen the immense power that community has in positively supporting these journeys; many report a collective sense of “group travel” that feels qualitatively different than solo sessions. |
Preparation and integration practices with support from like-minded others also decrease isolation, which is much-needed in our increasingly estranged modern world. Participation in safe community containers can facilitate healing above and beyond the effects of the medicine.
Group sessions lower the total cost of treatment (see Fees for pricing), making ketamine more accessible to a wider range of people, and potentially extending initial solo work in a sustainable manner.

Monthly Maintenance Groups - currently paused due to COVID
We offer monthly maintenance groups for those that are now familiar with both ketamine and our practice, and who may require ketamine more regularly as part of their ongoing mental health treatment. These are open groups whose membership may change each month, accommodating up to 5 participants. Both preparation and integration will be streamlined into the 5-hour session.

Closed Small Group Cohorts - currently paused due to COVID
We periodically offer opportunities to build more safety and connection--as well as to support to marginalized communities--via regular meetings in a closed-group format. These groups can accommodate 3-4 participants in a module.
Our aim is to match participants according to areas of focus or common concerns. Some examples of these focus areas are:

Schedule:
Each group module will begin with a 3-meeting commitment.
We will schedule the following meetings a few days apart:
Preparation session: 90 minutes
Medicine journey: 5 hours
Integration session: 90 minutes
Participants will be traveling through this experience as a cohort, so all 3 meetings are required. Additional journey and integration sessions may be scheduled after the first module, and we will collaboratively discuss the possibility of adding other participants at that time.

Getting started and eligibility:
Groups treatments are available only for those who have already completed at least one individual session with our team; this allows us to have a better sense of your individualized response to ketamine and how to best serve your safety and therapeutic needs before entering a group environment.
NOTE: Group work may not be appropriate for everyone; those desiring in-depth exploration of traumatic material may be best served in a solo session, where two guides are available to assist in navigating internal dynamics with sufficient time and space.
We will discuss whether group work would be a good fit for you during your intake session with our treatment team. We may collaboratively choose a combination of solo and group sessions to best serve your needs.
